Soldiers of the First Brigade reaffirm their commitment to Boyacá during flag oath ceremonies

In Chiquinquirá, the 2nd Sucre Light Infantry Battalion conducted this solemn military ceremony, during which the young soldiers swore allegiance to the nation, extolling fundamental values such as honor, discipline, respect, and commitment to the security and defense of Boyacá’s territory.

Likewise, in Duitama, the No. 1 General José Miguel Silva Plazas Medium Cavalry Group conducted the flag-swearing-in ceremony, where the soldiers reaffirmed their dedication to service and their constant readiness to work for the peace, stability, and well-being of the communities.

These military ceremonies represent the strengthening of the National Army’s institutional commitment to protecting the civilian population and consolidating security in the region, while also reflecting the spirit of service, dedication, and sacrifice of the men and women who make up the First Brigade in the service of the people of Boyacá and the country.
