Soldiers from the fourth contingent of 2025 swore to defend the flag in a military ceremony in Boyacá

During the formal ceremony, filled with martial spirit, honor, and deep patriotism, nearly 300 soldiers swore to defend Colombia's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and constitutional order. With this commitment, the young men officially begin their service to their country, responsibly assuming the mission of contributing to the security and stability of the provinces of Occidente and Note Tundama, in the department of Boyacá. 

The ceremony was attended by family members and military and civilian authorities, who accompanied the soldiers at this important moment in their lives, reaffirming institutional and citizen support for those who today wear the uniform with pride and a vocation for service.

With this oath, the National Army continues to strengthen its commitment to protecting Colombians and consolidating security in the region.
