38 non-commissioned officers from the Colombian Army and Navy are strengthening their leadership skills.
26 sergeants major from the Colombian Army and 12 sergeants major and technical chiefs from the Colombian Navy, who are part of the Comprehensive Program for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (PISAJ in Spanish), at the Combined Arms School, are in the United States conducting a geostrategic internship.
With the goal of contributing to the development of effective and skilled leaders, these service members are undergoing an international training phase that will strengthen their professional skills in mission accomplishment.
For 15 days, they will visit different strategic units of the United States Southern Command, where, in addition to exchanging knowledge, they will learn firsthand about cutting-edge strategies.
The Comprehensive Program for High-Ranking Non-Commissioned Officers (PISAJ) is developed jointly by the National Army and Navy, as part of a strategy for the professionalization and education of non-commissioned officers in the Armed Forces.
