Sergeant majors begin international geostrategic academic training

These exercises are conducted in coordination with the U.S. Army South and the Colombian Army, which leads the development of the PISAJ course. This program trains future command sergeant majors and command technical chiefs from the Army, Navy, and Aerospace Force. Additionally, two students from the armies of Ecuador and Brazil are participating.

Over the course of two weeks, our 47 high-ranking non-commissioned officers will have the opportunity to learn about the capabilities of the U.S. Army South and interact with their counterparts in a strategic exercise that promotes opportunities for the exchange of experiences and knowledge, where leadership will be reinforced as an element that enhances combat power.

For the National Army, these academic opportunities are essential for the growth and professionalization of the non-commissioned officer corps, who are the primary actors in the application of strategic and ethical leadership and teamwork.
