Second Lieutenants successfully completed their specialization in the Corps of Engineers

The Military Engineers School held the closing ceremony for the Specialization Course in the Corps of Engineers for Second Lieutenants (Officer Cadet), in which 19 students, including three women, completed their professional training process. The course was designed to strengthen their skills in mobility, counter-mobility, survival, and general engineering work, with the aim of preparing them as future platoon commanders in the service of the National Army.

During the course, students received comprehensive training in the distinctive disciplines of combat engineers, support engineers, and construction engineers, acquiring fundamental knowledge to plan and direct operations in support of the National Army's tactical units.

In recognition of her outstanding performance, Second Lieutenant Angie Alexandra Cárdenas Chilatra ranked first in the course, standing out for her leadership, commitment, and academic and military excellence, reflecting the high level of training provided in this phase of specialization.

This training process reaffirms the Military Engineers School's commitment to preparing officers of integrity, capable of facing operational challenges and contributing to the strengthening of the country's military capacity.
