This military operation disrupted the armed, financial, and logistical structure of the residual organized armed group (GAO-r), the Darío Gutiérrez and Iván Díaz Front, which belongs to the dissident factions of alias Calarcá. Among those captured are two alleged ringleaders believed to be responsible for coordinating extortion and intimidation against the population in southeastern Tolima.
