Tradition, solemnity, and military spirit: The Military Cadet School participated in the presidential command ceremony

From the Cadet Military School’s facilities in Bogotá, the Ceremonial Battery of the 13th Artillery Battalion “Fernando Landazábal Reyes” fired the traditional 21-gun salute as part of the military honors rendered to Colombia’s new president. With precision, discipline, and military bearing, the uniformed personnel carried out this ceremony, which is part of the nation’s military and protocol traditions.

Likewise, at the Pichincha Military Headquarters in Cali, officers, senior cadets, and cadets from the Military Cadet School attended the ceremony recognizing the presidential command, representing the institution that trains future officers of the National Army.

The participation of the men and women in training was marked by the rigor characteristic of military tradition, reflecting the principles of discipline, honor, respect, and commitment that are integral to military training and are evident in every ceremony in which the institution represents the National Army.

The twenty-one artillery salutes, as well as the presence of officers, senior cadets, and cadets in Cali, served as an expression of respect for the institution and for the traditions that, throughout history, have marked the Republic’s defining moments.

In this way, the General José María Córdova Military Cadet School reaffirms its commitment to the comprehensive training of future National Army officers and to the preservation of the military traditions that strengthen institutional identity.
