The Military Gaula apprehended an individual wanted by authorities in Sogamoso, Boyacá

The military operation was carried out through joint and interagency efforts aimed at combating crimes that threaten public safety and social harmony in the region.

The suspect is accused of attempted murder and aggravated theft. The suspect was handed over to the competent authorities, who will proceed with the corresponding legal process to determine his legal status.

The First Brigade of the National Army reiterates its commitment to continue working in a coordinated manner to contribute to the security of Colombians. Likewise, it invites the community to report any incidents related to extortion and kidnapping that affect personal safety and freedom by calling 147.
