The Human Rights School of the National Army trains 17 members of the Public Force of Panama

Representing our National Army, a Mobile Training Group from the School of Human Rights, International Humanitarian Law and Legal Affairs traveled to Panama, with the purpose of training seventeen members of the Public Force of this country in 'Operational Law and Use of Force'.

For two weeks, four Colombian military personnel will carry out academic sessions to strengthen the knowledge of both countries and exchange experiences, within the framework of the Regional Security Joint Action Plan USCAP.

The objective of this activity is to strengthen decision making in the development of military operations, guaranteeing their execution in accordance with International Humanitarian Law, protecting Human Rights and reducing the impact on the civilian population.

It also seeks to consolidate a solid understanding of Operational Law, contributing to conflict prevention, fostering responsibility and promoting accountability among nations.

Given that conflict scenarios are increasingly complex and multidimensional, the permanent teaching and updating of Operational Law doctrine becomes a fundamental tool for the maintenance of peace and global security.
