The Army is strengthening the training of future non-commissioned officers who will command troops in the country’s most challenging regions

For eight weeks, the future non-commissioned officers underwent rigorous training at the Tactical Training and Retraining School, where they strengthened their skills in close combat, survival, land navigation, helicopter insertion, rappelling techniques, and other fundamental skills for carrying out military operations.

In addition to tactical preparation, the course focused on strengthening leadership, decision-making under pressure, and troop command—essential skills for those who will be responsible for commanding small military units in various scenarios across the country.

In recognition of meeting the standards established in this course, the students received the badge accrediting them as combatants of the National Army, an emblem symbolizing the completion of one of the most demanding stages of their military career.

For his part, the director of the Military School for Non-Commissioned Officers, Colonel Gabriel Alexander Ramos García, noted that this type of training constitutes a fundamental stage in the education of those who will be responsible for leading soldiers in different regions of the country.
