Military Non-Commissioned Officers School shares its training model with Ecuadorian Army delegation on international academic visit

This week, the Sargento Inocencio Chincá Military School for Non-Commissioned Officers received a visit from a delegation from the Ecuadorian Army Soldier Training School (ESFORSE in Spanish) as part of a geostrategic visit. The purpose of the meeting was to learn firsthand about the training and preparation processes for future noncommissioned officers of the Colombian National Army, thus strengthening ties of cooperation and academic exchange between both military institutions.

In this sense, the tour of the Alma Mater became an enriching exchange of knowledge on military and academic doctrine, which allowed for the consolidation of interinstitutional relations and opened new opportunities for joint learning.

Since 2013, the Sargento Inocencio Chincá Noncommissioned Officers Military School has established international academic mobility agreements with countries such as the United States, Panama, and Paraguay; it has also developed academic visits with Germany, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru. These alliances strengthen the security and defense capabilities of future third corporals in the National Army.

Similarly, to date, nearly 800 noncommissioned officers have participated in cultural and academic immersion programs abroad. By the end of 2025, more than 50 students are expected to be sent on study assignments outside the country, continuing the institutional strategy aimed at excellence in military training.

In this way, the Military Non-Commissioned Officers School reaffirms its commitment to comprehensive, high-quality training, consolidating its position as a benchmark for military education at the international level.
