Military Engineers Strengthen Operational Leadership

The CAPINTE course is a fundamental requirement for promotion to a higher rank, as it consolidates noncommissioned officers' leadership, planning, troop command, and decision-making skills in increasingly demanding operational scenarios. This academic process reaffirms the institutional commitment to excellence, discipline, and the constant professionalization of human talent.

For its part, the Risk Management and Emergency Response course strengthens the technical and strategic skills necessary to respond in a timely and effective manner to emergency situations, natural disasters, and events that require coordinated action, thus ensuring the fulfillment of the constitutional mission.

During the ceremony, the top students in each course were honored in recognition of their academic performance, commitment, and leadership, highlighting Second Corporal Juan Carlos Jiménez Rodríguez, who ranked first in the CAPINTE course, and First Corporal Miguel Ronald Mosso Arias, who ranked first in the Risk Management and Emergency Response course.

Special mention was made of the leadership and determination of Corporal Fiorela Figueroa, the only woman in the CAPINTE course, whose performance reflects the fundamental role that women play in the National Army, where merit, preparation, and dedication to service are the basis for professional growth.

Through these training processes, CEMIL, through the School of Military Engineers, continues to develop men and women of integrity who are highly trained and committed to serving Colombia with honor, discipline, and excellence.
