Helocast: training that strengthens the operational capabilities of 128 soldiers in hard-to-reach scenarios

With the aim of strengthening the troops' operational capabilities in highly demanding scenarios, the Tactical Training School conducted a helocast exercise, a specialized air insertion technique that allows for the deployment of soldiers in hard-to-reach areas.

During the maneuver, 128 men performed controlled jumps from an aircraft in flight toward the commandos' lake, facing conditions that demand high levels of precision, coordination, and immediate reaction time. This type of training requires not only physical skills but also mental fortitude and teamwork, fundamental pillars of performance in the field of operations.

This exercise is becoming a strategic tool that expands the reach of military operations, allowing units to enter complex territories where other access methods are limited or nonexistent. This increases the effectiveness of fulfilling the institutional mission, especially in the fight against transnational threats and drug trafficking.

Just two weeks from completing their training, these soldiers are advancing with determination toward excellence, demonstrating the National Army's commitment to rigorous, realistic training aimed at guaranteeing the security and defense of the country.
