Army and Attorney General's Office dismantle Los Látex organized crime group in Bogotá

Those captured were wanted for the crimes of coercion for extortion purposes, conspiracy to commit a crime, computer theft, and violation of personal data. 

The operation was made possible thanks to timely reports from citizens, as well as several months of military intelligence work and investigative work carried out by the Attorney General's Office. The arrests were made in the neighborhoods of Usme, Puente Aranda, Bosa, and Kennedy in Bogotá. 

With this operational result, the troops of the 13th Brigade have dealt a decisive blow to the illegal economies of the criminal structures operating in the center of the country and reaffirmed their commitment to the security of the inhabitants of Bogotá and Cundinamarca.
