80 officers were trained in the use of force under IHL, continuing the cycle of training for staff in our educational community of the Military School of Cadets.
The Office of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law of the Military School, coordinated a lecture by Mauricio Pryor Moreno, lawyer of the Sergio Arboleda University, who has a master in Analysis of Political, Economic and International Contemporary Issues, and currently working on his Doctorate in Public International Law at University Alfonso X in Spain.
The issues discussed at the conference were: historical perspective of the use of force under IHL, and the General treaty to resign from war. 1928 and regime of use of force in the UN Charter, Article 1: Aggression is the use of armed force by a State against the sovereignty, territorial integrity or political independence of another State or in any other manner.
The Human Rights Office of the Military School of Cadets will continue to develop these activities to strengthen and contribute to the training of members of the security forces.
